MY DEAL
I started playing guitar over 30 years ago in the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia, and it was the greatest decision of my life. Painful at first, my parents would occasionally hide my guitar while I was learning to play but with the help of the great Mike Ess, I finally figured it out and ended up teaching professionally at Guitar Works in downtown Richmond. Since then, I've played in multiple bands in Richmond, Charlottesville and Virginia Beach- including Reality Sandwich, The Fire Ants, SPUNN, Freeflow, Big Brewster and the Blue Rocks and currently, Straight Face. I'd say my influences are Pink Floyd, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson, and of course, the Beatles.
